Flexible Work Schedule
The last thing we want you to do is use your hard-earned PTO on your child’s school play or medical appointments. Flexible work schedules allow you to make the most of that precious work-life balance.
Paid Time Off
PTO is something near and dear to our hearts. We want our team to use PTO as needed. North of Eight employees can accrue up to two weeks during your first year of employment, and three weeks each year after that.
36 Hour Work Week
From Memorial Day to Labor Day, our team takes part in half day Fridays! We believe in living life to the fullest, and we know that summer is the best time to soak up the sunshine and make memories with family and friends. Don't worry, you'll still be paid for 40!
Paid Volunteer Time
North of Eight believes that the best way we can give back to our communities is to encourage our team to volunteer within them. Full-time employees have up to two paid hours per month to spend with the causes that matter most to them.
Healthcare Stipend
As much as we would love to offer health insurance to our amazing employees, at this time it is simply out of reach. To bridge that gap, we offer a small monthly healthcare stipend to all full-time employees.
Supplemental Insurance
Accidents happen! That's what Patty at Aflac is for. North of Eight offers all employees over 20 hours a week a $50 monthly stipend to offset common insurance gaps such as short-term disability, dental, vision and accidental.

The Trail Guide
What our hiring process looks like from start to finish.
Virtual Visit
At North of Eight, we're only great because of the team we've built - and we're super protective of it. This 30-minute virtual visit will be laid back. You’ll likely meet with just one or two of us to gauge a culture fit.
Formal Interview
"Formal" at North of Eight doesn't necessarily mean suit and tie - but it is an important opportunity to share your qualifications with our leadership team. Don't stress, we're probably nervous too.
Reference Checks
We'll need to check in with your provided references to make sure you're not a serial killer or something.
Offer Letter
We'll put everything down in writing for your review and (hopeful) signature.
